| Florida Sixth Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ is only the second in the history of the state to start from a fellowship. Under the leadership of Prelate Bishop L.T. Weaver, Sr., it began with four churches located in Melbourne, Jacksonville, Pensacola, and Miami. The headquarters is located at Greater Faith Temple COGIC, 2701 Leonard Weaver Blvd., in Melbourne. Bishop Weaver is the pastor and founder of Greater Faith Temple.
